This hand-painted porcelain thai lady in traditional dress doll stands 20inches (50cm) tall. She is wearing the contemporary traditional dress of northern thailand. Her clothes would be hand spun thai silk. The colorful band along the bottom of the long skirt is woven as a design into the heavy thai silk. Her blouse of lighter thai silk is adorned with a silk wrap. A beautifully ethnic piece of doll art.
