Though she has stopped selling drugs to make ends meets, diamond (yolanda androzzo) is not completely free of gangster influences. She struggles to raise her four-year-old child within chicagos ruthless world of motorcycles, drug deals, and street violence. Carlos (alfredo vicente), the boys father, has spent the last four years in prison. Upon his release, he comes back to town expecting to pick up where he left off with diamond and his son, but things have changed in his absence. Denny (bruce orendorf), a lawyer who helped carlos in jail, is now romantically involved with diamond. The story takes a turn for the worse when denny dies in a mysterious car bombing and the little boy is kidnapped. A desperate diamond, along with a team of police investigators and some close friends, goes on a cross-country search to find her son.
