The nc-300d fast ethernet media converter series is designed to convert 100base-tx single to/from 100base-fx signal. Its used to extend the connection distance between two fast ethernet devices via fiber cable transparently with no performance degradation. The series supports a variety of fiber optic connectors, including duplex st, sc and mt-rj, vf-45. The nc-300d series is an ideal solution to connect networks on different floors, separate buildings and to extend distances between servers and workgroups up to a maximum of 50 kilometers in a full-duplex networking environment.
