His right hand is held up with his thumb and forefinger touching in the vitarka mudra or the debate hand posture. The hand position is a gesture of discussion and debate indicates communication and an explanation of the Dharma. The dull grey color of the stone is unique. The stone is also extremely smooth to the touch. A piece of this size in durkey stone is a rarity because the raw stone typically does not come in such large sizes. Made of grey marble Durkey Stone.
