Thank you for your interest in our candle and fake food product lines. We began our business in 1998 selling a full line of children’s educational products to consumers throughout the us, japan and singapore. Due to our love for candles, in the year 2000, we made the decision to expand our business to include a candle line of products but wanted something unique and fun for customers. This began our journey into the food candle market. Our first design was a 9 inch strawberry mound pie candle and is still a best seller today. In mid - 2000 we launched our first website named sherwood’s forest which featured our initial 10 bakery candles. Due to the demand for these items we continued to expand, create and better every candle we produced. We now manufacturer over 400+ designs.Today we can still say that each candle is handmade from scratch in our idaho facility. Throughout our growth our main goal was to not loose quality which often happens in mass production from the use of machines and we are proud to say we have successfully maintained that goal and are still a family run company. In 2002 we also added a line of fake food replicas which are used for displays, as production props and household decorations. This brought on a new challenge of learning to use products other than wax. Our new line of products grew rapidly and we split into 2 companies, a candle to remember and sherwood’s forest fake foods. Today we are still growing strong and add about 30 new products each year and we look forward to continued growth in the coming years as well. Requests for custom fake food products have taken our business to a new level and have challenged our creative skills which have allowed us to develop products we never thought we would be making.
